P19 SPEED ADJUST
Displays the measured belt speed. If the belt speed displayed is incorrect, the actual belt speed may be
entered. The value entered must be in the same units of measure as P4.
To determine the actual belt speed:
a) Measure the belt length with a measuring tape.
b) Mark a point on the edge of the belt.
c) Run material on the belt at normal speed.
d) Monitor the time required for 1 or more* complete belt revolutions.
*Accuracy improves with the number of belt revolutions monitored.
ACTUAL SPEED =
BELT LENGTH x NUMBER OF BELT REVOLUTIONS
TIME
When a speed sensor is used, the P5 value is automatically adjusted.
When a speed sensor is not used, the P4 value is automatically adjusted.
A Zero and Span calibration is not required as a result of the use of this parameter.
enter: the actual belt speed (the adjusted parameter value is automatically displayed)
P20 TEST REFERENCE SELECTION
Defines the type of test reference selected to represent a material load.
The test reference selected is indicated when the following parameter is accessed.
OPTION DESCRIPTION TEST REFERENCE (P7) SPAN ADJUST (P8) FACTORING (P9)
0 Test Weight [PARAMETER 7] [PARAMETER 8] [PARAMETER 9]
1 ECAL [PARAMETER 7E] [PARAMETER 8E] [PARAMETER 9E]
2 Test Chain [PARAMETER 7C] [PARAMETER 8C] [PARAMETER 9C]
When P20 = 1, ECAL is automatically applied whenever a Span Calibration or Factoring procedure is activated,
and removed when the procedure is complete. Refer to Calibration \ Alternate Test References for ECAL span
calibration instructions..
enter: 0 = load (F)(test weight)
1 = ECAL (electronic reference)
2 = test chain
